Who Is Eva Morrison?

​

Eva Morrison is a pastel artist who has a gift for bringing life and character to her paintings. She finds an abundance of inspiration while living on the family farm, at the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains, in northern Virginia. From her childhood, she has been surrounded by animals great and small as well as beautiful landscapes.  She embraced life in the country from showing goats at the Loudoun County Fair and raising chickens for the family, to training horses and harvesting vegetables from the garden. Her formative years were established in a home full of art, where she took lessons from her grandmother, and was influenced by her grandfather's professional wildlife paintings.  Eva is motivated to capture the amazing beauty of God’s creation, and now shares her art with others through her studio called EvArt.

What Is EvArt's studio goal?

 

EvArt's studio goal is to offer high quality animal portraits, and commissioned original works of art that capture the personality and character of the subject while telling a story that gives glory to God for His creation.

How Did It Get Started?

​

From a young age, Eva studied watercolor and acrylics as taught by her grandmother, and inspired by her grandfather.  Eva later discovered that the medium where she could best express herself was that of pastels. Her family and friends were soon amazed by what they saw before them, and others began requesting commissioned artwork for their homes. Having developed her skill and style, Eva has now responded to God's calling to be an artist and bring glory to His name by blessing others with her paintings.
